“Thank You” Backgrounds
The sad news is the Adventure Time short “Thank You,” after qualifying for an animated-short Oscar last month, has not made it into the Academy’s shortlist of the final ten competitors (that’s okay; the ten that did make it are all pretty terrific). The happy news is we can continue to show off the wonderful art that helped make this episode so special.
“Thank You’s” background designers were ghostshrimp and Santino Lascano. The painters were Martin Ansolabehere, Sandra Calleros, and Ron Russell. Cole Sanchez was the creative director. Nick Jennings is Adventure Time’s art director.
